Second in the Speakers’s Series
We are all looking forward to hearing Jean's PowerPoint talk on Gypsum Mining in Brant County. Paris is the first recorded location of gypsum mining in Ontario, 200 years ago!
What is/was gypsum used for? Who mined first in Paris? Where did they mine?
Come and find out on Sunday March 19th, 2 - 4 pm, in the Museum.
Admission is by donation. All are welcome, so please let your friends and family know as well.

Jazmin Beddard, speaking on conservation of objects and archives. This will be an introduction to the what, why and how of conservation .
Third in the Speakers’ Series
Sunday, May 28th, James Christison speaks on Pottery Make-Dos: The Art of Repairs. He will describe the necessity, ingenuity, skills and beauty of repaired household wares.
James is the curator of the Waterford Heritage and Agricultural Museum and has been immersed in history and collections for most of his life.
May 28th, 2 - 4 pm at the Museum
